TGIF Open Thread!

Hello, Destructoid! It's that wonderful time of the week! It's Friday!

It's St. John's day here, which... I don't really know what it means, just that he's the excuse for us to have our "quermese" and all the delicious food that comes with it during June and July, so I'm thankful! Speaking of good food, last weekend I baked another version of Irish soda bread with the added flavour of raisins! I was actually proud of my culinary skills this time :D

After watching Nick Cage, I gave a chance to Adam Sandler and his new Hustle film. It's good - I'm all here for this Adam Sandler revival! Also read Hani and Ishu's Guide to Fake Dating, Yeats' The Celtic Twilight (the whole book is great, but I loved his comparison between how the Irish and the Scottish deal with their faeries), and Mrs Martin’s Incomparable Adventure. For fans of history, I discover a gas podcast called Vulgar History that takes a lot at women from the past who didn't "behave" as was expected of them.
