TGIF Open Thread!

Gooood morning all! It's that wonderful time of the week! It's Friday! Wasn't able to login to the site last week, so thanks again to Queen for taking care of TGIF for me. Until further notice, TGIF will stay here until the blogs break down completely lol. Or if people just stop showing up here, maybe I'll then start doing TGIF on Cohost. Either way, I'll give you as much notice as I'm able. Work week was decent. Having Tuesday off due to the holiday was nice but threw me off as I thought it was Saturday or Sunday multiple times throughout.

One big thing did happen last weekend for me though. I got engaged! She loved the ring and the ring I got myself is pretty nice too. Unfortunately, I'm an idiot and had to send them back as she accidently gave me her wrong ring size way back annnd I was estimating my size due to the wrong info on hers lol So I got my finger officially sized and exchanged them so we'll hopefully have the properly sized rings back in a week or two. Either way, we're excited. The cermony part that I'm still unsure of what exactly is happening? I'm less excited about. I don't like big gatherings normally. I especially don't like them when a lot of the attention is going to be on us lol.

No big plans this weekend that I know of. We need to take our pups over to her sisters house sometime this month to get them used to the dogs at their place since  they'll be staying with them when we take our trip to Iowa in August. Which I'm excited for but also nervous since it is rapidly approaching. It'll be nice to get out of this damn heat for awhile and to see my sister. Haven't seen her since 2019 so that'll be nice.
