Greetings fellow game music lovers,

with the summer slowly nearing its end we need to get some more summer related entries out of the door. How about the main level theme from the original Wonder Boy from 1986?

The song basically consists of the following components. The main instrument sounds like a synthesized Calypso steel drum which fits to the caribbean scenario:

The main melody is simple and might have many sources, but I think it might be an early blues song. Example:

At 0:18 it finally seems to add what might be a Boogie or early Rock n Roll guitar. I have no good sample for that, but as a reference for the general style you may take this:
