TGIF Open Thread!

Gooood morning all! It's that wonderful time of the week. It's Friday!! Better yet, the site allowed me to login and write TGIF this week so yay for that. This week was one of those in the middle, can't make up its mind, lets go fast, no lets go slow weeks. So I'm definitely happy we've made it to Friday. Work was decent but also greeeeat cause I just got a really good sized raise, backpay to July 1st, and a nice bonus. Sooo fuck yeah to that! Just another thing that makes me look back on a years back when we all first met and I was broke as a joke and just barely scraping by. Feeling grateful for the progress and all that.

Anyways, off the mushy stuff. I'm bored. As in, a bored gamer because I have a loooot of awesome games waiting to be played but I'm currently not in the mood to play any of them. I have such a strong focus on the upcoming Sea of Stars and Starfield that unfortunately, that's all I really want to play right now. Luckily, Sea of Stars drops on the 29th of this month? Starfield drops like a week after that so the wait won't be much longer. So until then, I've just been playing a little Layers of Fear and Modern Warfare 2 here and there. Played the Invasion mode for the first time last night and that was actually really fun. Large scale team deathmatch, 20 vs. 20 with bots included. Was surprised by how much I enjoyed that one.

I beat Paranormasight and mostly loved it. A neat paranormal, investigative visual novel with a fun story involving curses. Good stuff all around. We also rewatched The Haunting of Hill House and I still absolutely love the hell out of that show. So good. Love how the house just brutally fucks with everyone.

This weekend, we're celebrating Stephs mothers b-day on Saturday by going out to eat for some good Mexican food. Then on Sunday, we're celebrating Stephs b-day by going to another cool Terror Trader horror vendor festival thingy and then getting sushi for dinner. Busy weekend but it will be fun.
