Hello Destructoid!
I have shared in some of my previous posts a series of retro gaming books I have created. Through the help of Kickstarter and a bunch of amazing backers (some coming from this community!) I have been able to make 3 books so far in a limited print run. I have found a new size and format (plus a new price) for readers to be able to pick up my books now!
32 Bit Library is now available right through Amazon for $29 in softcover and $49 in hardcover. It has been revised, re-edited, and redesigned into a 6" x 9" trade-sized book. I took the time and replaced the screenshots for over 80% of the book, so if you've previously bought a digital or physical version, this new edition will be a great reader copy to revisit the games inside.
32 Bit Library Volume 1 focuses on Capcom, a premier publisher of the original PlayStation. Looking through 46 different games over the course of hundreds of pages, you can chronologically see the evolution of Capcom’s extraordinary output on that famous gray box. Bonus essays are provided by Jason Dvorak from Game-Rave.com, John Linneman from Digital Foundry & DF Retro, and Audi Sorlie from Limited Run Games.
Follow this link to see the books. Vol 2 will be coming soon in this same format, followed by Vol 3: Amazon 32 Bit Library Link
