Surviving in Palworld means crafting useful tools and weapons, as well as constructing buildings for safety. However, using tools degrades them over time, and buildings get damaged during raids. Thankfully, it’s not too hard to repair your tools and structures in Palworld.
Did you chop down too many trees and now your axe is in shambles? Instead of outright replacing it, you can repair the tool even if its health is at zero. However, you’ll need to be more wary when it comes to structures. Those can’t just be slapped back together with tape and twine if you wait too long.
How to repair tools, weapons, and armor in Palworld
You need to construct a Repair Bench to repair your tools and gear in Palworld. Luckily, you’ll be able to make one rather early during your campaign for worldwide domination. The Repair Bench can be unlocked at Level 2, and you may want to do that as soon as your gear gets degraded enough to need a fix. Frankly, I didn’t need to create one for quite some time, so you may also not have much need for it right away.
The Repair Bench is incredibly important in the long run, however. You’ll create more tools, weapons, and armor over time, so having one early on is a must. After it’s unlocked, craft it using 10 Wood and 10 Stone. Tools and weapons take a small amount of materials used to initially make them in their repair. For example, a Stone Axe needs 2 Stone and 2 Wood.
How to repair structures in Palworld
You can repair structures rather easily in Palworld using a craftable item called a Repair Kit. All you need to do is level up to 3 and unlock the Repair Kit, which looks like a screwdriver with a yellow handle. You can make it at a Primitive Workbench for 5 Fiber (which you can gather by chopping trees) and 5 Stone. It’s a disposable item, which means it’s destroyed on use. It’s a good thing they’re so cheap, eh?
To repair a structure, get near the damaged part of the building and look for a set of options to appear. If you see an option for ‘Repair [Repair Kit: 1]’, then you can use a kit to fix the structure. Hold the Repair key until the bar fills and the structure is repaired.
Structures can become damaged during raids, so having a Repair Kit or three on hand is a smart play. Of course, if you want to destroy a structure, that takes a different method altogether.
