The highest Lethal Company quota record, explained

Pull yourself up by your space bootstraps.

Lethal Company is supposedly about dealing with murderous entities, but the real horror is the necessity of meeting ever-higher quotas for the titular company.

The quota is the amount of credits you need to make every three in-game days, a number that rises whenever your team successfully meets the target. Not meeting said quotas will terminate your contract — and life — as it causes the company to eject your team into the depths of space. It’s a losing game as the target profits will never stop rising, and sooner or later you won’t manage to satisfy the company’s goals. Still, players are reportedly yet to stop getting better and better results by the day.

What’s the current record?

Just a little over a day ago, player T4t0_ posted on Reddit a video of him and his team clearing a massive quota of a little over 10,500 credits to set what GamesRadar and Reddit believe is still the world record quota to beat at 11899.

T4t0’s run ended after beating 17 quotas and having delivered over 55,571 credits in scrap value. To give you an idea of how massive an achievement that is, you might be a true asset in the making in the company if you manage to clear a quota of, say, 600, in your first week. I sure know I didn’t. As for my current record quota right now? Well, uh, that’s under NDA. Yeah, that’s it.

How to improve your quotas?

T4t0 explains that the extra spice that carried him over the world record line was keeping extra scrap inside the ship between ventures. The rest? impeccable teamwork, knowledge of the game, and luck. Yes, regardless of how good you are, luck will always play a big role in this game, as, there’s no way to predict how much your next quota will be. As per T4t0’s own words: “This run was 17 quotas fulfilled, and 11899 was the 18th quota. for comparison, our previous record was 9920, and that was 15 fulfilled quotas, and the 9920 was the 16th quota. we got extremely lucky with the quotas we rolled and were able to squeeze out 2 more quotas than previously, so it’s really hard to tell what the limit actually is.”

You can now sell your life to the company on PC.
