During your adventures on Palapagos, you’ll come across some mysterious patterned eggs lying around. Unlike the smaller white eggs you’ll find along the way, please refrain from cooking these – they turn into Pals. Here’s how to hatch eggs in Palworld.
There is a wide variety of eggs that can be found throughout the wilds of the Palapagos, from normal-type eggs (which are pink and striped) to dark-type eggs (black with red targets on them). Each egg hatches into a Pal of the corresponding type, though there’s no way of knowing what these eggs will hatch into.
How to get the Egg Incubator
In order to hatch an egg that you’ve found and brought back to your base, you’ll need to unlock and build an Egg Incubator using Ancient Technology Points.
If you’re wondering how to get these points, we have a guide on that very matter.
How to hatch an egg
Once you’ve unlocked and built the Incubator, it’s actually really easy to hatch an egg. Simply have the egg in your inventory and interact with the Incubator.
Once you’ve done that, you’ll see the same countdown that appears whenever you build something, except you don’t have to sit around with your finger on the button for it to complete.
Each egg needs to be incubated for a specific length of time. Some of them take under a minute to be ready, while others can potentially take an hour or longer. You can speed up incubation, though. If your egg seems cold, adding a campfire or heater next to it will decrease the time needed to hatch. Similarly, if you add a cooler next to an egg that seems warm, it will do the same.
Once the countdown has completed and the egg is ready, simply interact with the Incubator again and you’ll receive whichever Pal was nestled inside the egg.
