It’s almost time! Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is just around the corner and fans are craving to get their hands on the highly-anticipated title. As the newest in the series, the game lets you control two Spider-Men: Peter Parker and Miles Morales. Plus, new villains are set to appear, including fan-favorites Kraven the Hunter and Venom. Marketing for the game has been huge, as this is PlayStation’s last big title for the year. And, if it’s anything like the first two games, we are in for a marvelous treat. While the game is scheduled to release on October 20, you can pre-load the game, so you can get your spidey-fix as soon as it launches.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Preload Date and Time
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will be available for preload digitally on October 13. Timing-wise, you’ll be able to start the download process at 6 a.m. PT/8 a.m. CT/9 a.m. ET. For other time conversions for your time zone, click here. While it doesn’t mean you get to play the game early, it does allow you to play the game the minute it releases. As for when that is, it’s at 9 p.m. PT/11 p.m. CT/ and 12 ET on October 19th. Note that this is only for digital copies.
How many gigabytes is Spider-Man 2?
For many people, it’s a bother to delete space in order to download a game right away. So, for all you preppers, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is 86.32 GB. For reference, Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered is 53.89 GB, and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales is 39.27 GB. Since the game will let you play as both Peter and Miles, you could delete both games if installed and have enough to download the new one (with a few extra GBs to spare).
Pre-Order Bonuses
If you pre-order Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, you’ll get early access in-game to two suits, the Arachknight Suit for Peter and the Shadow-Spider Suit for Miles. Each suit comes with three different color variants. Players will also get early access to the Web Grabber gadget. Plus, you get 3 Skill Points to use as you see fit.
