Phils Game/Pop Music Similarities #308 - Crystal Digg

Featuring Final Fantasy III and several.

Greetings fellow game music lovers,

as a pure coincidence, another song from Final Fantasy III (1990)! This time it is the song that plays in the Cave of Tides. It is literally named "the cave wherein the crystal lies" although in the west it's more known as "The Altar Cave":

This being a relatively simple up and down progression there are probably multiple candidates although the tone suggests one of the greater romantic era piano composers as a source. Nevertheless, here is what I have so far:
