Destiny 2 Starcat location guide – Week 6

After a few weeks of loners, Week 6 is a Starcat party in the Dreaming City.

Destiny 2 Season 23 has entered its sixth week, and with it concludes The Dawning. But it’s not so gloomy in the absence of snowballs and cookies. Without holiday distractions, the Starcats have run rampant, with three new cosmic kitties appearing in-game.

Technically, it may look like four new Starcats are in the game, and in fact, that was the original intention. But when Guardians went hunting for a Starcat last week, they found the Cell of the Sycophant held no felines while the Spine of Keres unexpectedly did. The swap seems unintended, but even this week the Cell of the Sycophant Starcat is awol.

Instead, Week 6 takes Guardians to far reaches of the Dreaming City to locate three Starcats across various points of interest. Of course, if players missed the swapped Spine of Keres Starcat, they can stop for that one, too. In fact, any missed Starcat from Week 1Week 2Week 3Week 4, or Week 5 is still available for Guardians to collect.

The first feline friend is in the Harbinger’s Seclude. To get there, head into the massive Awoken tower in the northeastern part of Rheasilvia. Once inside, head straight ahead until reaching a forced right turn into a room lit by red light. Guardians will continue traversing the only available path until they reach a large open room.

Then, head off to the left side by a large stone pillar. If players look off the platform’s right-side edge, they’ll spot a grassy area below. A crevice in the rock wall leads to a taken portal; run around it and emerge in a chamber with four rooms. The second room from the left has an Ahamkara skull atop a display pedestal. The Starcat is hiding behind the pedestal on the right side.

From where Guardians just met the Harbinger’s Seclude Starcat, they can head back up and into the passed Taken portal. The portal will transport players to a new area with a linear path forward. Before long, Guardians will enter a circular room with multiple doors. Take a left here and enter a room that resembles the Blind Well activity.

The Starcat is in this room, at the opposite end from where Guardians entered. It is sitting about some ominous-looking roots cleaning itself. But then again, this is the Starcat that allegedly likes to stare into the void.

To get to the Gardens of Esila, players will want to navigate back to that circular room in The Confluence. If Guardians left and need to get back there for whatever reason, that means entering the tower at the northern edge of Rheasilvia, following the linear path to an open area, and jumping off a left-side balcony to an area below. From there, a Taken portal will lead players back to the rounded chamber.

From the entrance of the chamber, head through the entryway straight ahead. If players are coming from the Starcat in The Confluence, it would be the doorway on the left. The path will take Guardians through a few rooms with trees in their center, ultimately leading to another Taken portal.

Players will emerge in an open area with some enemies. Heading straight through the doorway and to the left, players will spot an oracle atop a column. There are small bridges to the left and right connecting to the platform with the oracle and column. The Starcat is under the left-side bridge, sitting on some rocks.

Where do the Week 6 Starcats go?

After finding each cuddly cosmic Starcat, the rascals will return to the H.E.L.M. There; each finds a cozy nook to call its own, often displaying a bit of its unique personality in the process. At this point, if players have been stalwartly rescuing Starcats each week, the H.E.L.M. is getting quite filled up with felines. Nevertheless, three more join the party. It’s important to note that Starcats will only appear in the H.E.L.M. after players redeem the Triumph associated with finding them.

The Harbinger’s Seclude Starcat likes to kick it with some friends nearby. But other Starcats just won’t do. When players return to the H.E.L.M. they’ll find this kitty hanging out near Crow. It will be sitting opposite of him, right outside the door leading toward the portal to the Athenaeum.

The Confluence Starcat isn’t too far from its Harbinger’s Seclude buddy. A little further ahead, in the room that houses the portal to the Athenaeum, this little furball (starball?) is sitting atop a wardrobe. Just to the left of the portal, this Starcat must be waiting for Eris.

The Gardens of Esila Starcat likes to hide near the water’s edge, so it’s a ringer for the Wing of the Deep. But there’s so much water in the area; where would a cunning Starcat choose to hide? This bundle of love is tucked on some materials right at the water’s edge. He’s easily missable unless Guardians look over the railing to the right of the portal to the Dive Tank.
